When a person is sad and is undergoing the feeling of being alone, negativity thrives. We know that our thoughts have a big impact on how we act. When we think negatively, we often lose our track. Self-confidence and esteem are both affected leading to bigger personal issues. The worse is that when this continues to happen, we lack the motivation that can aid us to carry on.

It is imperative to understand that it is normal to find motivation in the most important part of our lives. Life can be tricky that when we needed to be stronger, there comes a trial that will measure our will and persistence.
It is when we have the slightest doubt in ourselves, the more we must believe in our capacity.

In times we feel weak, the more we must make ourselves stronger and ready for anything.

It is when we find us in our lowest, the more we persuade to unleash and uplift the better version of ourselves.

Finding Motivation when you’re Down and Giving Up

It will be easier to handle negativity if we will accept that trials and failures are a normal part of life. Everyone experiences problems; and in every problem, there is a solution. That’s why the last thing you should have in mind is to give up. You’re not the only one who is suffering from sadness, from depression, from anxiety. Just think that if others can overcome bigger problems, you too can do it! Because you are not alone.

The following tips can help you find the courage and strength to pursue your life’s journey. Follow these and you’ll get even more motivated each day.

Create a vision.
Create a positive vision; it must be something that will inspire you more. It must serve as a plan or ‘blueprint’ to guide you. The more specific it is, the easier it is to achieve.

Remember that Failures are Part of life
As previously mentioned, failures are part of life. You will not always win, but you can always learn. As a matter of fact, failures can be the best teachers because they can teach you the most important lessons during the hardest part of your life. Once you have that acceptance, you will be ready to handle any type of failures.

Think and Speak Words Positively.
Affirmations. Yes, practice to think and speak positively. A positive mindset leads to positive actions. If you tend to think negatively, you won’t be able to find happiness. Living a life in a positive way of thinking is contagious. You will notice that people will be inspired by you as well because your words can inspire and motivate them.

Take small steps while dreaming big
Success does not happen overnight. Achieving a big dream always start with baby steps. So, do not hesitate to take the first step – gradually, little by little – and you’ll find yourself heading to the right path.

Be grateful.
Count your blessings instead of always complaining. There is a lot to be thankful for – your family, your friends, your work, your talents, and everything around you. You are what you are because of them. When there’s gratitude in your heart, everything else will follow. Genuine happiness will linger and everything becomes even more inspiring.

Love yourself a little more.
You are beautiful. You are unique. You are passionate. You are valuable. You are worth more than you know. Accepting your flaws and loving yourself a little more will make you stronger and more confident.

You can be a blessing to others. You can become the best version of yourself. How? Rekindle your passion. Share our talents. Motivate others.

But remember this: You can’t give with an empty cup. Thus, you need to motivate yourself first before extending it to others. Time will come, you will find yourself thanking those moments in your life when you feel you’re at your lowest, simply because those serve as your mentors to become better.
